Something Punny, LLC builds Cadre Contacts. Contact analysis happens on your device. This policy explains contact access, private iCloud storage, backups, exports, and this website.

Contacts and analysis

With your permission, Cadre reads and updates the contacts available through Apple Contacts. Health scoring, duplicate detection, validation, and cleanup suggestions run on your device. Cadre also stores local files for recovery and other app features.

Something Punny does not operate a contact-data server, sell contact data, or use your contacts for advertising. The app has no Cadre account, advertising, usage analytics, or tracking.

iCloud Sync

Cadre can sync contact-related data, Smart Lists, and preferences through your private iCloud account. This can include contact details and original imported files. It uses Apple's services under your Apple Account.

iCloud Sync is on by default when iCloud and contact access are available. You can turn it off in Cadre Settings. This stops future sync; work already pending may finish. Turning sync off does not delete stored copies, and turning it back on can sync changes made while it was off. Contacts in connected accounts also follow those accounts' own sync settings.

Backups and exports

Backups and exports can contain contact details, notes, photos, and imported data. You can choose a destination when exporting. Saving to iCloud Drive or another file provider sends the file to that provider under your account.

Cadre also offers backups in its private iCloud Drive folder, with local storage when iCloud Drive is unavailable. Automatic Backups are separate from iCloud Sync, off by default, and require your confirmation of an in-app disclosure before they start. Cadre keeps up to 30 unpinned automatic backups. You can review, restore, and delete saved backups in Settings. Turning automatic backups off stops new ones and keeps existing files.

Your choices and stored data

Manage contact access in system Settings, sync and backups in Cadre Settings, and exported files through their chosen destination. Removing Cadre does not delete your Apple Contacts, exported files, saved backups, or data already synced to iCloud. Synced versions may remain for recovery and conflict handling. Manage stored iCloud data through your Apple Account settings.

Apple and other services

Apple services and any file provider you choose handle data under their own terms and privacy policies. Cadre does not integrate third-party advertising, tracking, or analytics services.

This website and the support form

hicadre.com is served through Cloudflare, which processes visitors’ IP addresses and request details to deliver and protect the site. It also runs Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies or cross-site tracking. The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies; the support page sets one strictly necessary session cookie that protects the contact form.

If you write to us through the support form, we receive your name, email address, message, and IP address, and Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person sent it. We store the message on our server and email it to our support inbox so we can reply. We delete form messages from our server after 12 months. If you email us directly, we receive what you send.

App Store privacy label

Cadre's App Store privacy label states “Data Not Collected.” Private iCloud sync and backups use your Apple Account. Information you send us through this website or email is handled as described above.

Children and policy changes

Cadre Contacts is not directed to children. We update this policy and its effective date when our data practices change.
